Corps Cadets
The Bible says, ‘Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.’ (1 Timothy 4:12)

Any eligible young Salvationist aged 12 to 21 who wants to be a Corps Cadet should attend a discipleship training programme, which is mainly consisted of bible teaching, social life, practice in faith and serving others. The programme aims to guide Corps Cadets to go deeper in Jesus Christ, to broaden their vision in serving others, and to deepen their understanding in The Salvation Army Doctrines, so that they are dedicated to fulfill the Salvation Army slogan of ‘Heart to God and Hand to Man’.
The Salvation Army expects every Corps Officer to be faithful Soldiers and Corps leaders of The Salvation Army, or even answer God’s call to become a Salvation Army Officer (Pastor).
